MIGUEL INDURAIN (1964-)

"The ruler" during '90 years. He won 5 editions of TdF. He obtained "the double-double" (TdF+Giro) in 1992 and 1993. Great climber and strong in time trials. In 1994 obtained the Hour Record.

 

 

 

 

 

CLAUDIO CHIAPPUCCI (1963-)

"El Diablo", he became famous after Tour de France stage in 1990. Chiappucci was a pugnacious rider. He won Milan-Sanremo in 1991.

 

 


 

GIANNI BUGNO (1964-)

Rider with a great talent and loved from the fans. He won almost all the important races (2 x World Champion, Giro, Milan-Sanremo…), but he couldn’t obtain the victory in Tour de France. In this picture he is with Atala, his first team.

 

 

 

TONY ROMINGER (1961-)

He won 3 Vuelta Espana and 1 Giro d'Italia. Rominger was King of Mountain in TdF. He won 2 Tour of Lombardy and obtained the Hour Record.

 

 

 

 

 

ABRAHAM OLANO (1970-) & JAN ULLRICH (1973-)

Original picture from Tour de France 1997 and signed by both riders. Ullrich won this edition of TdF. Olano was World Champion in 1995 and won Vuelta Espana in 1998.

 

MARCO PANTANI (1970-2004)

“The Pirate”. The greatest italian rider of the last times. The first Italian winner of TdF after Gimondi, 33 years later. The king of mountains. From the triumph of 1998 to the tragic death of 2004. Introverted and unlucky rider: however he will be a cycling legend.

 

 

 

LANCE ARMSTRONG (1971-)

The Recordman: the first rider to win 7 editions of Tour de France.

 

MARIO CIPOLLINI (1967-)

Supermario was a great sprinter. He held the record of stage victories in Giro. In 2002 he won Milan-Sanremo e World Championship.

 

 

 

 

DANIELE NARDELLO (1972-) & PAOLO BETTINI (1974-)

Two great Italian riders. They won a lot of classic races.

 

 

 

 

 

ALESSANDRO PETACCHI (1974-)

Another great sprinter! Winner of 7 stages in Giro d'Italia (2004). He won Milan-Sanremo in 2005.
